Testing and Evaluation Services
Neuropsychological Evaluations
Comprehensive evaluations are conducted with children, adolescents, and adults with a history of developmental and/or acquired injuries including traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, ADHD, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, epilepsy, stroke, or other neurological and/or psychiatric conditions. Evaluations include a battery of standardized tests used to help identify a person’s unique pattern of strengths and weaknesses. Evaluations can be used to help clarify diagnosis, as well as to assist with treatment planning, including outlining educational recommendations.

Psychological Evaluations
Psychological evaluations involve a thorough diagnostic interview combined with administration of standardized testing that may include assessment of a person’s cognitive ability, as well as their personality style and emotional functioning. This information is often useful for the purposes of mental health diagnosis, as well as treatment planning.

Educational Evaluations
Educational evaluations are conducted to determine if a student has a learning disability or specific academic challenge. Evaluations can also help document eligibility for accommodations or modifications in the academic setting, as well as on standardized testing such as the SAT or ACT.
Parenting Evaluations:
Parenting Evaluations involve psychological and/or neuropsychological evaluation procedures to assess an adult’s history, cognitive ability, personality style, emotional functioning, and any mental health concerns for the purpose of determining parenting capacity. Treatment and other recommendations are provided to assist in custody planning and promoting the parent-child relationship.
